What is Telegram?

Telegram is a cloud-based instant messaging service that has been making rounds as a popular option for those who wish to keep their messages secure. Telegram boasts a collection of different features, but itโ€™s best known for its ability to secure messages and media by encrypting them during transit; this prevents third-parties from snooping on messages easily. Letโ€™s take a look at what Telegram can do and why you might want to use it.

Telegram announces Anonymous Admins

The cloud-based messaging platform is also adding Anonymous Group Admins feature. As per Telegram, this feature is being introduced for safer protests. As per the Telegram blog post, users can โ€œToggle Remain Anonymous in Admin rights to enable Batman mode. The anonymized admin will be hidden in the list of group members, and their messages in the chat will be signed with the group name, similar to channel posts.โ€
